BMW was in the midst of launching a line of new and exciting electric vehicles, including the iX & i4, when a global pandemic created supply chain issues with production. With pre-orders well underway, BMW needed to find a way to keep people engaged and excited about the eventual arrival of their new vehicle during the delay to keep them from cancelling their order. BMW vehicles go far on a quick charge, so we took that principle and distilled it into a rapid charger for their phone, With the MyBMW App, your phone connects you to your vehicle in many ways, including being the literal key to your vehicle.
