Water is Everything

Every year, World Vision’s high end donors receive an extensive package asking them for donations to help with a very specific issue. Access to safe drinking water is a major issue for many children. Some children have to walk for hours to collect water, most of which is still not safe to drink. World Vision needed high end donors to help them bring clean water to these children. Their generous donations would go towards bringing wells to villages that needed them desperately. A door warmer postcard was sent first, informing donors that they would receive a very important package within the week. The package contained a letter, a commitment card, a DVD telling the story of a child in need of clean water, and a Lifestraw. The Lifestraw was to be signed by the donor and sent back to World Vision along with a donation. The returned Lifestraws were then provided to children in need to use as a short term solution while the wells were being built.
