Hands for Hope

The World Vision Sponsorship program has been around for a long time. The Hands for Hope Sponsorship Program is specifically for people who want to sponsor a child whose life has been affected by HIV and AIDS. The Envelope featured a double window that illustrated how devastating HIV and AIDS is in developing countries, where children can become orphans because of these diseases. The package also contained an appeal for donations and 2 orange bracelets. One bracelet was for the donor, to remind them of the child they are helping, and the other bracelet was returned with a donation to go to the child, so that the child had a constant reminder that someone halfway across the world cared about them and was there to help them.

Birthday DM

Your sponsored child’s birthday is something to celebrate. And World Vision wanted to help Sponsors do just that. These DM pieces were sent around the time of your sponsored child’s birthday. In it was a small birthday gift for sponsors to sign and send back to their child, along with a donation.

Back to School

Back to school is big deal for children who are lucky enough to go to school. Each year, World Vision asks sponsors to send donations to help kids get much needed supplies for school. Along with their donation, sponsors sign and send back a special gift for their sponsored child to help them with their studies. This year, the sponsors sent their sponsored child their own personal chalk board to practice on.

Agricultural Pack

One of the things World Vision does is teach villages how to grow food, helping them get on the path to sustainability. This package asks donors to help out with that initiative, both by donating funds and by signing and returning the included gifts, which include a package of seeds and a fun and educational gift for your sponsored child.

Alberta Sponsor Acquisition Campaign

There is always a need for new sponsors and World Vision is always trying to find news ways to get new Sponsors. The Alberta Acquisition Campaign focused on trying to get 4,000 new sponsors to World Vision over a 4-6 week period. DM, OOH, Digital Display Banners, Newspaper, Radio and a Microsite were created to help achieve that goal, and more.
